Scioto Darby Concrete Inc. is a full service concrete contractor in the Columbus and Central Ohio area, primarily in the commercial and industrial construction market.

Scioto Darby Concrete Inc. was formed in 1979 in Columbus, Ohio by David Hamilton and was incorporated in 1982.  The company has grown from two employees in 1979 to over ninety presently.

Initially, the company worked in light commercial, H.U.D. / FHA apartments.  In the late 1980’s Scioto Darby Concrete Inc. moved into the very flat/super flat market of warehousing while continuing to service other commercial / industrial projects. 

In 1992 Scioto Darby Concrete Inc. purchased their first Somero laser screed and currently own three.

Scioto Darby Concrete Inc. can handle the footings, poured walls, sidewalks, curbs, concrete paving, slabs on grade, elevated slabs, architectural concrete and any other concrete needs for your project.

Projects that Scioto Darby Concrete Inc. completed in 2006 include  the Build – A – Bear warehouse in Groveport, Ohio, an approximate 400,000 square foot narrow aisle super flat building.  We also performed on the Center Point II warehouse in Obetz, Ohio, a 500,000 square foot random traffic flat floor, the Etna II which is a 504,000 square foot random traffic flat floor warehouse, and the Troy, Ohio Honda parts warehouse, a 550,000 square foot random traffic flat floor with industrial reinforcement as well as over 200,000 square foot of heavy duty reinforced paving.
